Restart in Safe Mode - LG G Pad™ X8.3

Safe Mode helps determine if an app is causing your LG G Pad X8.3 to freeze, reset or run slow.
Safe Mode puts your phone in a diagnostic state (returned to default settings) so you can determine if a third-party app is causing your device to freeze, reset or run slow.
An alternate method is available if the device is unresponsive or won't power on.
  1. Press and hold the
    Power button
     (located on the right edge) until 'Power off' displays on the screen then release.
  2. Touch and hold
    Power off
     until 'Restart in safe mode' displays.
  3. From Restart in safe mode, tap
    Turn On Safe Mode
     .
    This restart process may take up to 1 minute to complete.
    Upon restart, 'Safe mode' appears in the lower left of the unlock / Home screen.
  4. With Safe Mode enabled, test device and app functionality .
