Verizon Cloud - Apple iOS - Manage Photo Stories

Here's how to manage photo stories on your iPhone or iPad with Verizon Cloud.
  • Ensure your Verizon Cloud app is up to date on your Apple® iPhone® or iPad® as the steps below apply to the most recent version.
  • Only pictures with the .jpg (.jpeg) file extension are used to create Smart Folders.
  • During the initial backup, a folder must have at least 5 pictures in .jpg (.jpeg) format and 90% of the pictures must be in the .jpg (.jpeg) format to generate a Smart Folder.
  • If more pictures are added to an existing folder that had less than 5 pictures in it during the initial backup a Smart Folder is still not created. Creation of a new folder is required.
  • New folders being backed up must have at least 5 pictures in the .jpg (.jpeg) format and 90% of the pictures must be in the .jpg (.jpeg) format.
  1. Tap the
    Verizon Cloud icon
     Verizon Cloud icon.
  2. Tap
    Library
     (at the bottom).
  3. Tap
    Photos & videos
    .
  4. Tap
    Stories
     (at the bottom).
  5. Select a story.
    To rename a story:
    1. Tap the
      Contextual Menu icon
       Contextual Menu icon (upper-right).
    2. Tap
      Select
      .
    3. Select a story then tap the
      Contextual Menu icon
       (upper-right).
      Selected when a checkmark is present.
    4. Tap
      Rename Story
      .
    5. Enter a new name then tap
      OK
      .
  6. Tap the
    Play Story icon
     Play story icon.
  7. If prompted, tap
    Download RealTimes
     to download the required RealTimes player app.
  8. View the story then do any of the following:
    • Save it:
      1. Tap
        Save
         (upper-right).
      2. Enter the name of the Story then tap
        Save
         (upper-right).
    • Share it:
      1. Tap the
        Share icon
         Share icon (upper-right)
      2. Select an option to share the story (e.g., Airdrop, Facebook, Messages, etc.) then follow the on-screen prompts.
    • Edit it by selecting any of the following (bottom):
      • Title
        1. Tap the current title then enter a new name.
        2. Tap description to enter additional description information (optional).
        3. Tap
          Done
           (upper-right).
      • Scenes
        • Tap the
          Edit icon
           Edit icon on a picture then select one of the following:
          • Duplicate photo
          • Remove from Story
        • Tap the checkmark to hide/show the picture during playback then tap
          Done
           (upper-right).
          When the checkmark is blue the picture will be displayed during playback.
      • Effects
        1. Do either of the following:
          • Tap
            Filters
             then select a filter (e.g., Original, Timeless, Surreal, etc.).
          • Tap
            Transitions
             then select a transition (e.g., Cut, Blend, Swipe, etc.).
        2. Tap
          Save
           (upper-right).
      • Audio
        : Select a preloaded song option or tap Add then follow the on-screen prompts.
