ASUS ZenPad™ Z10 - Activate / Set Up Device

Here's how to quickly activate and set up your ZenPad Z10.
To avoid potential issues, review the following:
  • For more info on prepaid service activation, refer to Set up Verizon Prepaid Service.
  • Accounts (e.g., Gmail, email, etc.) should be set up after activating the device (see Related Info section at the bottom of this page).
  1. If powered off, press and hold the

     until the ASUS logo appears then release.

  2. From the Welcome screen, select the appropriate language then tap
    Next
     (at the bottom).
    Allow several seconds for activation to complete.
  3. If presented with the Verify your account screen, sign in with the Google account that was previously synced on the device, tap
    NEXT
     then tap
    NO
    .
  4. If presented with the Tablet Activation screen, tap Next or tap Activate Now (if available).
    If prompted, enter the last 4 digits of the account owner's Social Security Number or the billing password.
    If activating a new device, ensure the old device is powered off and allow several minutes for the deactivation of the old device to complete.
  5. If presented with the Select Wi-Fi screen, tap

  6. From the Add your Account (Google) screen, tap
    SKIP
     then tap
    SKIP
    .
  7. From the Name screen, enter the first and last name then tap
    NEXT
    .
  8. From the Protect your phone screen, tap
    Protect this device
     to uncheck then tap
    SKIP
    SKIP ANYWAY
    .
  9. From the Google services screen, select any of the following to enable or disable then tap
    NEXT
     (may require scrolling to the bottom).
    Enabled when a checkmark is present.
    • Help apps find your location
    • Improve location accuracy
    • Help improve your Android experience
  10. From the Email Accounts screen, tap
    Skip
     (at the bottom).
  11. From the Summary screen, tap
    Done
