ASUS ZenPad™ Z10 - Manage Mobile / Wi-Fi Hotspot Settings

Here's how to configure mobile Wi-Fi hotspot settings (password, allowed devices, etc.) on your ZenPad Z10.
  1. From a Home screen, navigate:
    Apps icon Apps icon
    Settings Settings icon
    Mobile Hotspot and Tethering
    .
  2. Tap
    Set up Mobile hotspot
    .
  3. From the Set up Mobile hotspot screen, configure the following then tap
    Save
     (located in the lower-right):
    If necessary, tap
    Advanced options
     (located in the lower-left) to view all settings.
    • Network name (SSID)
    • Security
      • None
      • WPA2 PSK
    • Password
      Password can be changed.
    • Show password
      Enabled when a check mark is present.
    • Select AP Band
      • 2.4 GHz Band
      • 5 GHz Band
    • AP Channel (e.g., 1, 2, 3, 11)
    • AP Mode (e.g., b/g/n, b, g)
    • Disable Mobile Hotspot when inactive (e.g., Never, After 5 minutes)
