Samsung Gear S3 frontier / Gear S3 classic - Check Device Storage

Here's how to free up space if your Gear S3 frontier / Gear S3 classic runs slow or crashes / resets or apps freeze when running them.
To perform the steps below, you need to:
  • use an Android™ Smartphone as your companion device.
If your watch is paired with an Apple® iPhone®, the option to view watch storage isn't available.
  • ensure the Galaxy Wearable app is installed and updated on your smartphone.
  • ensure Bluetooth® is enabled on both the watch and smartphone.
  • keep the watch near your smartphone throughout the entire process.
Follow these steps on your companion smartphone:
  1. Open the Galaxy Wearable app.
  2. Tap the
    Home tab
    (lower-left).
  3. From the 'About watch' section, view the storage.
If the device memory is full, unused items may be removed from the watch such as Apps.
