Here's how to set up, change or disable the screen lock option (e.g., password, pattern, etc.) for your Gear S3 frontier / Gear S3 classic.

  1. From the watch screen, press the
    Home button
     to open the apps screen.

  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Security
    Lock
    .
  3. Tap
    Type
    .
  4. Do one of the following:
    • Set up or modify a PIN:
      1. Tap
        PIN
        .
      2. Enter a 4-digit pin.
      3. Re-enter the 4-digit pin to confirm.
    • Set up or modify a Pattern:
      1. Tap
        Pattern
        .
      2. Draw the desired pattern.
        The pattern must contain 4 or more dots.
      3. Re-draw the pattern to confirm.
    • To disable the screen lock, tap
      None
