ASUS ZenPad™ Z10 - View / Restrict Data Usage by App

Here's how to view / restrict the amount of data an app uses on your ZenPad Z10.
Some apps depend upon background data (transferring data when not directly in use). Restricting background data may cause those apps to stop functioning unless a Wi-Fi connection is available.
  1. From a Home screen, navigate:
    Apps icon Apps icon
    Settings Settings icon
    Data usage
     (Wireless & networks section).
  2. Tap
    Details
    .
    To see Wi-Fi data usage, tap
    Wi-Fi data usage
     in the Wi-Fi section.
  3. Locate then select an app (below the usage graph) then view the usage.
    To restrict the app from using data in the background, tap the
    Background data switch
     to turn off Switch off.
    If prompted, review the notification then tap
    OK
     to confirm.
