Alcatel Avalon™ - Clear App Cache

Here's how to clear cached data if your Avalon runs slow, crashes or resets, or apps freeze.
Follow the steps below to clear individual app cache or all cached data.

Clear Individual App Cache

  1. From a Home screen, swipe up from the center of the display to access the apps screen.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings
    Apps & notifications
    .
  3. Tap the
    Dropdown icon
     to display all apps.
  4. Locate then select the appropriate app.
    If system apps aren't visible, tap the
    Menu icon
     Menu icon (upper-right) >
    Show system
    .
  5. Tap
    Storage
    .
  6. Tap
    CLEAR CACHE
    .
    This option may not be available for some apps.

Clear All Cached Data

  1. From a Home screen, swipe up from the center of the display to access the apps screen.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Storage
    .
  3. Tap
    FREE UP SPACE
    .
  4. Tap
    FREE UP '#' B
     (lower-right).
