5G Home Internet - Add Wi-Fi Extender - My Verizon App

Here's how to add a Wi-Fi Extender or Wi-Fi Extender Mini for a 5G Home Internet via the My Verizon App.
5G Home Internet service is currently offered in specific areas; check for 5G coverage availability.
The steps below apply to the Wi-Fi Extender and Wi-Fi Extender Mini. Before proceeding, review the following:
  • Ensure your app is up to date as the following steps apply to the most recent version.
    If you're not able to access the My Verizon app, you can also visit the My Verizon website to manage your account.
  • Available settings vary based on user type (e.g., Account Owner, Account Manager, Account Member).
  1. Open the
    My Verizon app
     .
  2. Tap the
    Account tab
     (at the bottom).
    If prompted, enter your password, fingerprint or Face ID.
  3. If necessary, tap the 'Home' or '5G Home' tab (at the top).
    Depending on your account services, the tabs displayed may vary.
  4. Tap
    Manage 5G Home
    .
  5. Tap
    Network settings
    .
  6. Tap
    Add an extender
     then follow the prompts to configure or set up the Wi-Fi Extender.
