Here's how to quickly set up your moto z4.
If you need to transfer contacts and media from one device to another, follow these step-by-step instructions before activating the new device.
To activate the device on prepaid service, refer to Set up Verizon Prepaid Service.
  1. If powered off, press and hold the
    Power button
     until the moto logo appears then release.

  2. Select the appropriate language then tap
    START
    .

  3. Ensure the appropriate mobile number is listed then tap
    NEXT
    .
    If prompted, enter the account PIN then follow the onscreen prompts (see Account PIN FAQs for additional info).
    If activating a new phone, ensure the old phone is powered off.

  4. Select a network then enter the password.
    Tap
    SKIP
     to add Wi-Fi networks after setup is complete.

  5. Tap
    NEXT
     if you'd like to restore your info from an old device.
    Tap
    DON'T COPY
     if you'd like a fresh start.
    If troubleshooting, don't restore the device until all testing has been completed.

  6. Sign in to your existing Google™ account or create a new one then tap

     to add your Google account after setup is complete.

  7. Review the Google Services info, tap any of the switches to turn on Switch on or off Switch off then tap
    ACCEPT
     (may require scrolling to the bottom).

  8. Enter a lock code then tap
    NEXT

     to set up a screen lock after setup is complete.

  9. Review the info then tap
    Next

    to setup Voice Match.

     to continue with the Setup Wizard.

     to continue with the Setup Wizard.

    ACCEPT

    NEXT

     to set up Verizon Cloud after setup is complete.

    switch
     to turn on Switch on or off Switch off then tap

     to set up later.

    ACCEPT AND CONTINUE

    If you choose you can check the box and fill in email address to receive emails from Motorola.

    GOT IT
     to complete setup.
