Here's how to remove a Gmail (Google) account from your moto z4.
Removing then re-adding your Gmail™ account often fixes login and not receiving email issues
  1. From a Home screen, swipe up to access all apps.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings
     Settings icon >
    Accounts
     Accounts icon.
  3. Tap the appropriate Gmail (Google™) account.
  4. Tap
    Remove account
    .
  5. Tap
    Remove account
     to confirm.
