Here's how to clear cached data if your moto z4 runs slow, crashes, resets, or apps freeze.
If your device runs slow, crashes or resets, or apps freeze when running them, clearing the cached data may help.

Clear Individual App Cache

  1. From a Home screen, swipe up to access all apps.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Apps & notifications
    .
  3. Tap
    See all 'xx' apps
    .
  4. Tap the appropriate app.
  5. Tap
    Storage & cache
    .
  6. Tap
    Clear cache
    .
    This option may not be available for some apps.

Clear All Cached Data

  1. From a Home screen, swipe up to access all apps.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Storage Storage icon
    .
  3. Tap
    FREE UP SPACE
    .
  4. Tap
    Clean
     (lower-left) then tap
    OK
     ('Clean up' section).
