Here's how to configure the screen lock settings for your moto g7 play.
  1. From a Home screen, swipe up to access all apps.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings
     Settings icon >
    Security
    .
  3. From the Device Security section, tap
    Screen lock
    .
    May require you to enter the current lock code (e.g., pin, pattern, password, etc).
  4. Select a screen lock option:
    • None
    • Swipe
    • Pattern
    • PIN
    • Password
  5. After configuring a lock type, tap the
    gear icon
     Gear icon to set up screen lock options:
    Depending upon the screen lock type, the options presented may vary.
    • Make pattern visible
      Tap to to turn on Switch on or off Switch off.
    • Automatically lock
      • Immediately
      • 5 seconds
      • 15 seconds
      • 30 seconds
      • 1 minute
      • 2 minutes
      • 5 minutes
      • 10 minutes
      • 30 minutes
      • 50 minutes
    • Power button instantly locks
      Tap to to turn on or off.
    • Lock screen message
      Enter a message then tap
      SAVE
      .
    • Secure start-up
      Tap to to turn on or off.
