moto g7 play - Set Up Fingerprint Recognition

Here's how to set up fingerprint recognition on your moto g7 play.
  • A fingerprint is utilized to unlock the device.
  • For the fingerprint scanner to operate, hands must be clean and free of moisture, dirt, oil, lotion, dyes, etc.
  • Up to 5 fingerprints can be registered on the device.
  1. From a Home screen, swipe up to access all apps.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Security
    Fingerprint
    .
    If presented, enter the current PIN, password or pattern.
  3. Tap
    Set Up
    .
  4. Locate and tap the
    fingerprint sensor
     on the back of the device (below the camera) to continue.
  5. Place your finger on the sensor until it vibrates then lift finger off the sensor.
    Repeat this step as necessary until the process is complete.
    For greater accuracy, finger placement should vary slightly each time.
  6. Tap 'Done' or 'Add another'.
