Here's how to change the SIM PIN for your moto g7 play or turn it on or off.
  • Enabling the SIM PIN locks the SIM card so it can't be used until the correct code is entered.
  • If the incorrect PIN code is entered too many times, refer to Locating the 4G SIM PIN/PUK - My Verizon Website to obtain a new PIN Unblocking Key (PUK).
  1. From a Home screen, swipe up to display all apps.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Security
    .
  3. Tap
    Advanced
    .
  4. From the 'SIM CARD LOCK' section, tap
    Verizon
    .
  5. Tap the
    Lock SIM card switch
     to turn on Switch on or off Switch off.
    To change your SIM PIN, ensure the switch is turned on then do the following:
    1. Tap
      Change SIM PIN
      .
    2. Enter the old SIM PIN (current SIM PIN) then tap
      OK
      .
      The default SIM PIN is 1111.
    3. Enter the new SIM PIN then tap
      OK
      .
  6. Enter the SIM PIN then tap
    OK
