Here's how to adjust screen brightness and other display settings (e.g., screen saver, font size, etc.) for your G Pad 5 10.1 FHD.
Follow these steps to adjust brightness settings and display / font settings for your LG G Pad™ 5 10.1 FHD.

Adjust Brightness Settings

  1. From a Home screen, navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Display
     .
  2. To adjust brightness, move the
    slider
     left or right.
  3. Tap the
    Auto switch
     (below the Brightness bar) to turn auto brightness on Switch on or off Switch off .

Adjust Display / Font Settings

  1. From a Home screen, navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Display
     .
  2. Tap
    Screen timeout
     then select an option (e.g., 15 seconds, 1 minute, 5 minutes, etc.).
    Selected when a blue circle appears.
  3. To control what happens when the phone is docked or charging:
    1. Tap
      Screen saver
       .
    2. Tap the
      Screen saver switch
       to turn on Switch on or off Switch off .
    3. When on, select an option (e.g., Clock, Photos, etc.).
      Selected when a blue circle appears.
    4. Tap the
      Settings icon
       Settings icon to the right of the preferred option to configure screen saver settings (if available).
    5. Tap the
      Back icon
       Back icon (upper-left) to return to the previous screen.
  4. Tap
    Font
     .
  5. Move the slider right or left to increase or decrease the font size.
  6. Tap
    Bold text
     to turn on or off.
  7. Select the preferred font from the TYPE section (e.g., Roboto, LG Smart, etc.).
    Selected when a blue circle appears.
  8. Tap
    APPLY
     (lower-right).
