  • If using Microsoft® Exchange / Corporate sync, some screen lock options may be unavailable.
  • These steps can also be utilized to change your current screen lock setting.

Pattern

An unlock pattern is created to access the device.
  1. From a Home screen, Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Lock screen & security
     .
  2. Tap
    Select screen lock
     .
    If presented, enter the current PIN, password, or pattern.
  3. Tap
    Pattern
     .
  4. Review the info then select an option:
    • Require pattern to turn on tablet
    • No, thanks
  5. Tap
    CONTINUE
     .
  6. Draw an unlock pattern (connecting at least 4 dots) then tap
    NEXT
     .
  7. Draw the same pattern again then tap
    CONFIRM
     .
  8. Select a notification option then tap
    OK
     :
    • Show all notifications
    • Hide sensitive notification content
    • Hide all notifications
  9. To disable screen lock:
    1. Tap 'None' or 'Swipe'.
    2. Tap
      DELETE
       to confirm.

A PIN is created to access the device.
  1. From a Home screen, Navigate:

    Lock screen & security

  2. Tap
    Select screen lock
     .
    If presented, enter the current PIN, password, or pattern.
  3. Tap
    PIN

  4. Review the info then select an option:
    • Require PIN to turn on tablet

    CONTINUE

  6. Enter a numeric PIN (4 to 16 digits) then tap
    NEXT

    Tap (check)
    Show PIN
     to view the PIN as it's being entered.
  7. Re-enter the numeric PIN then tap
    OK
     .
  8. Select a notification option then tap
    OK

    • Show all notifications
    • Hide sensitive notification content
    • Hide all notifications
  9. To disable screen lock:
    1. Tap 'None' or 'Swipe'.
    2. Tap
      DELETE

  6. Enter a password (4 to 16 characters, including at least one letter) then tap
    NEXT

    Tap (check)
    Show password
     to view the password as it's being entered.
  7. Re-enter the password then tap
    OK
     .
  8. Select a notification option then tap
    OK
