LG G Pad 5 10.1 FHD - Enable / Disable App

Here's how to turn pre-installed apps on your G Pad 5 10.1 FHD on or off.
Some apps that come pre-installed (e.g., calculator, Google Play™ Store, Verizon Cloud, Call Filter, etc.) on your LG G Pad 5™ 10.1 FHD can't be uninstalled; however, they can be disabled (turned off) so they don't appear in the list of apps on your device.
The option to enable or disable an app may only be available for apps that can't be uninstalled.

Enable App

  1. From a Home screen, Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Apps & notifications
    App info
     .
  2. Tap the
    dropdown menu
    (upper-right) then select
    Disabled apps
     .
    If system apps aren't visible, tap the
    Menu icon Menu icon
    (upper-right) then tap
    Show system
     .
  3. Tap the appropriate app.
  4. Tap
    Enable
     .

Disable App

Disabling an app may cause related apps to function improperly.
  1. From a Home screen, Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Apps & notifications
    App info
     .
  2. If necessary, tap the
    dropdown menu
    (upper-right) then select
    All apps
     .
    If system apps aren't visible, tap the
    Menu icon Menu icon
    (upper-right) then tap
    Show system
     .
  3. Tap the appropriate app.
  4. Tap
    Disable
     .
    If the Disable option isn't available, navigate:
    Force Stop (upper-right)
    Force Stop (lower-right)
     .
  5. Review the info then tap
    YES
     .
  6. If prompted to 'replace this app with the factory version', tap
    OK
     to confirm.
