Here's how to view / restrict the amount of data an app on your G Pad 5 10.1 FHD uses.
Some apps depend upon background data (transferring data when not directly in use). Restricting background data on your LG G Pad 5™ 10.1 FHD may cause those apps to stop functioning unless a Wi-Fi connection is available.
  1. From a Home screen, navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Network & internet
  2. Tap
    Data usage
     .
  3. Select an app (below the usage graph) then view the usage.
    To restrict the app from using data in the background, tap the
    Background data switch
     to turn off Switch off .
