TCL TAB FAMILY EDITION - Manage Do Not Disturb Settings

Here's how to check Do Not Disturb settings if your TCL TAB FAMILY EDITION isn't receiving calls or alerts for texts and email.
  • The Do Not Disturb setting allows sound / vibration (for phone calls, messages, etc.) to be turned on or off as preferred.
  • Alarms are always considered priority interruptions.

Manage Exceptions

  1. From a Home screen, swipe up to access all apps.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Sound
    .
  3. Tap
    Do Not Disturb
    .
  4. Tap
    View all exceptions
    .
  5. Tap any of the following switches to turn on Switch on or off Switch off :
    • Allow alarms
    • Play media sounds
    • Allow touch sounds
    • Allow reminders
    • Allow events
  6. Tap
    Allow messages
    .
  7. Tap
    Allow messages
     on the next page then select an option (e.g., From anyone, From contacts only, etc.).
  8. Tap the
    Back icon
    to return to the Exceptions screen.

Manage Do Not Disturb Schedules

  1. From a Home screen, swipe up to access all apps.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Sound
    .
  3. Tap
    Do Not Disturb
    .
  4. To enable Do Not Disturb immediately, tap
    TURN ON NOW
    .
  5. Tap
    Schedules
     to do one of the following:
    • Create a new schedule:
      1. Tap
        Add more
        .
      2. Select an option (e.g., Event, Time).
      3. Enter a schedule name (e.g., School, Work, etc.) then tap
        Add
        .
      4. The following options are available if 'Time' was selected.
      5. Tap
        Days
         , select the desired days of the week then tap
        Done
        .
        Enabled when a checkmark is present.
      6. Tap
        Start time
         , select the desired time then tap
        OK
        .
      7. Tap
        End time
         , select the desired time then tap
        OK
        .
      8. Tap the
        Alarm can override end time switch
         to turn on Switch on or off Switch off.
    • To turn a schedule on or off, tap the
      schedule name
      .
      Enabled when a checkmark is present.
    • Edit a schedule:
      1. Tap the
        Settings icon
         Settings icon next to the appropriate schedule.
      2. To change the name, tap
        Edit
         , adjust the name as preferred then tap
        OK
        .
      3. Tap
        Days
         , select (check) the appropriate days then tap
        DONE
        .
      4. Tap
        Start time
         , adjust the time then tap
        OK
        .
      5. Tap
        End time
         , adjust the time then tap
        OK
        .
      6. Tap the
        Alarm can override end time switch
         to turn on or off.
      7. Tap
        Do Not Disturb behavior
         then configure settings as preferred.
    • Delete a schedule:
      1. Tap the
        Settings icon
         next to the appropriate schedule.
      2. Tap
        DELETE

      3. To confirm, tap
        DELETE
