Nokia 8 V 5G UW - Activate / Set Up Device

Here's how to quickly set up your Nokia 8 V 5G UW.
To activate the device on prepaid service, refer to Set up Verizon Prepaid Service.
  1. If powered off, press and hold the
    Power button
     until the Powered by android appears then release.
  2. Select the appropriate language then tap
    START

  3. If presented with the 'Phone Activation' screen, tap
    Next

    If prompted, enter the account PIN then follow the onscreen prompts (see Account PIN FAQs for additional info).
    If activating a new phone, ensure the old phone is powered off.

  4. From the 'Connect to Wi-Fi' screen, select a network then enter the password.

     to add Wi-Fi networks after setup is complete.

  5. If you'd like to restore your info from an old device tap
    Next

  6. Sign in to your existing Google™ account or create a new one.

  7. From the 'Google services' screen, tap any of the switches to turn on Switch on or off Switch off then tap

     (may require scrolling to the bottom).

  8. From the 'Unlock with fingerprint' screen, tap
    Next
     then follow the steps to setup a fingerprint to unlock your device.

  9. From the 'Let's do Face unlock' screen, tap

     then follow the steps to setup face recognition to unlock your device.

  10. From the 'Set screen lock' screen, enter lock code then tap

    switch
     to turn on Switch on or off Switch off then tap
