Nokia 8 V 5G UW - Manage Do Not Disturb Settings

Here's how to check Do Not Disturb settings if your Nokia 8 V 5G UW isn't receiving calls or alerts for texts and email.
  • The Do Not Disturb function allows sound / vibration notifications (for phone calls, messages, etc.) to be turned on or off as preferred.
  • Alarms are considered priority notifications.

Set Priorities

  1. From a Home screen, swipe up to access all apps.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Sound
    .
  3. Tap
    Do Not Disturb
    .
  4. Tap
    See all exceptions
    .
  5. Tap any of the following switches to turn on Switch on or off Switch off :
    • Allow alarms
    • Play media sounds
    • Allow touch sounds
    • Allow reminders
    • Allow events
  6. Tap the
    Back icon
     Back arrow icon (upper-left)
  7. Tap either of the following:
    • Calls
    • SMS, MMS, and messaging apps
  8. Tap
    Allow calls
     then select an option (e.g., From anyone, From contacts only, etc).

Change Do Not Disturb Settings

  1. Swipe down twice from the top of a Home screen.
  2. Touch and hold
    Do Not Disturb
     to be taken to the settings.

  3. From the 'Schedule' section tap
    Default duration
    .
  4. Select one of the following:
    • Until you turn off
    • For 1 hour
      Increase or decrease this time frame using the Add icon or Subtract icon icons (to the right).
    • Ask every time
  5. Tap
    OK
