Set Up Face Recognition - motorola edge+

Here's how to set up facial recognition scan to access your motorola edge+.
  • Facial recognition through Trusted Face:
    • is an option for keeping the device screen from locking when looking at it.
    • can be used to unlock the device when it is locked and powered on.
    • is less secure than a PIN, patter or password.
  • A screen lock must be active (e.g., PIN, pattern, etc.) to use Trusted Face. If necessary, refer to Enable / Disable / Modify Screen Lock for assistance.
  • If synced to a corporate exchange account, the availability of this option is dependent upon the policies of your IT admin.
  1. From a Home screen, swipe up to access all apps.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings
     Settings icon >
    Security
    .
  3. From the 'Device security' section, tap
    Face unlock
    .
    If presented, enter the current PIN, password, or pattern.
  4. Do one of the following:
    • For first time setup:
      1. Tap
        Set up
         then tap
        Set up
         again to confirm.
      2. Align your face within the circle and follow on-screen prompts until the process is complete.
      3. Tap from the following options to turn on Switch on or off Switch off:
        • Skip lock screen
        • Lift to unlock
      4. Tap
        NEXT
        .
      5. Review the instructions then tap
        Done
        .
    • To remove face data:
      1. Tap
        Delete face data
        .
      2. Tap
        Delete
         to confirm.
