Orbic AirSurf 5G - Activate / Set Up Device
Here's how to quickly set up your AirSurf 5G laptop.
If you need to transfer contacts and media from one device to another, follow these step-by-step instructions before activating your new Orbic® AirSurf 5G™.
- New lines of service are activated when the device is powered on.
- If upgrading an existing line of service, call the toll free number (877-807-4646) once the device is received and follow the instructions to activate your Orbic AirSurf 5G.Ensure the previous device is turned off.
- If performing first time (out-of-the-box) setup, ensure the pre-installed Verizon 5G SIM card is inserted.
- If powered off, from the keyboard press thePower Key.
- Cortana® will narrate the setup process, if preferred tap theMicrophone icon(bottom-right) to silence Cortana.
- Select a region, then tap or clickYes.
- Select the preferred keyboard layout, then tap or clickYes.
- From the 'Want to add a second keyboard layout' screen, tap or clickSkip.
- Select the preferred network then tap or clickConnect. Once connected, tapNext.If prompted, enter the network security key (Wi-Fi password) then tap or clickNext.
- To continue, review the Windows® 11 License Agreement then tap or click,Accept.
- To sign in with Microsoft®, enter an email address, phone or Skype™ account then tap or clickNext.If prompted, enter the password then tap or clickNext.
- Tap or clickCreate PIN(lower-right).
- Enter a PIN, re-enter the PIN then tap or clickOK.
- Choose privacy settings for your device then read through settings, adjust as desired then tap or clickAccept.
- To customize your experience, select (check) the preferred options (e.g., Gaming, School, etc.) then tap or clickAccept.If preferred, tap or clickSkip.
- To connect your Android phone to your PC to make calls, send messages, or use mobile apps. Select the one of the following:

- Remind me laterYou will be prompted to connect your phone after Windows setup is complete.
- From the 'Your Microsoft account and OneDrive' screen, tap or clickNext.
- From the '... Free trial of Microsoft 365' screen, tap or clickDecline.
- To decline PC Game Pass, tap or clickNo thanks.
- From the 'Let Cortana help you get things done' screen, tap or click 'Accept' or 'Not now'.
- Select your Windows experience. To upgrade to Windows 11 tap or click,Get itthen tap or clickNext.If Windows 10 is preferred, tap or clickDecline upgrade.
