Orbic Chromebook - Add a Wi-Fi Network
Here's how to add a Wi-Fi network to your Orbic Chromebook.
If you need to add an available Wi-Fi network to yourOrbic®Chromebook®, follow these step-by-step instructions.
- From a Home screen, Navigate:.LauncherSettings
- ClickWi-Fi.
- Ensure the Wi-Fi switch is turned on
then select the preferred Wi-Fi network.
If the preferred network isn't listed, it can be added manually. - If presented, enter the appropriate password then clickConnect.To view the password as it is being entered, clickShow password

Manually Add a Wi-Fi Network
Wi-Fi network info is required to complete several steps. Refer to the network admin for assistance.
- From a Home screen, Navigate:.LauncherSettings
- Ensure the Wi-Fi switch is turned on
- ClickAdd Wi-Fi.
- From the SSID field, enter the appropriate name.
- From the Security field, click theDropdown menu
(to the right).
- Select one of the following security options:If using an Open network (None), skip to step 8.
- None
- WEP
- PSK (WPA or RSN)
- EAP
- From the Password field, enter the appropriate password.To view the password as it is being entered, clickShow password
- Ensure additional settings (e.g., EAP method, Phase 2 authentication, CA certificate, etc.) are configured appropriately (if applicable) then clickConnect.
