Connected Car Wi-Fi (BMW) - Change the Wi-Fi Hotspot Password

Here's how to change the hotspot password for your BMW in-car Wi-Fi.
Activation of your Personal eSIM is required before accessing the Wi-Fi Hotspot settings screen.
  1. From the vehicle's head unit, tap
    MENU
    .
  2. Tap
    All apps
    .
  3. Tap
    Personal Hotspot
    .
  4. Tap
    Settings
     (on the right).
  5. Tap
    Name
     to change the SSID name.
  6. Tap
    Password
     to change the Wi-Fi password.
