Sales Maker Employment Validation

General Information

What is the Sales Maker program and why am I being asked to validate my employment?

The Sales Maker program offers discounts for individuals that have sales-impacting roles in Verizon Wireless National Retail and Indirect Agent sales channels.

Your eligibility for this program is tied to your employment status, which may change over time. So we'll periodically ask you to validate your current employment status.. Having accurate information regarding the company you work for and your selling role helps ensure that you'll receive the discounts that you're eligible for.

How do I validate my Sales Maker eligibility?

To validate your Sales Maker eligibility:

    1. Visit the Sales Maker Employment Verification page using the web address you receive in a text message from Verizon.
    2. Print out the validation form listed on the website and fill it out completely.
    3. Get a copy of your current paystub and black out the income amount and other sensitive information.
    4. Mail the completed form and paystub to the processing center listed on the form.

You've successfully validated your Sales Maker eligibility.

Do I need an email address to participate in the Sales Maker program?

Yes. To ensure you continue to receive appropriate and timely communication about the program, a valid email address is required.

Can I email my Sales Maker eligibility validation form and paystub or submit them online?

No, there's not currently an email or online option available at this time. In order to validate your Sales Maker eligibility, you'll need to mail in the physical form and your current paystub.

How long do I have to validate my Sales Maker eligibility?

You have 30 days to validate your Sales Maker eligibility from the day you receive the first text notification.

What happens if I don't validate my Sales Maker eligibility?

If you don't validate your Sales Maker eligibility within 30 days from when the first validation text notification was sent, your account will be suspended. If you don't respond within another 10 days, your account will be disconnected.

Does Sales Maker eligibility validation extend or shorten my existing Verizon Wireless service contract term?

No, validation doesn't impact your Verizon Wireless service contract term. It simply validates your current status as a Sales Maker.

What does Verizon do with the information I submit as part of Sales Maker eligibility validation?

The information you provide will only be used to validate your Sales Maker eligibility status. We highly value your privacy and won't use the information in any way other than the stated purpose.

We also ask that you black out the income amount and other sensitive information on the paystub you send in with the validation form. This will further protect your private information during the validation process.

You can refer to our privacy policy for more information.

How often will I need to validate my status as a Sales Maker?

Sales Maker eligibility validation will take place once or twice per year.

What is a point of sale location code and how does it apply to the Sales Maker program?

A point of sale location code identifies a sales location and is the code that is given to Credit and Order Review (CORe , previously known as COOS) when calling in for assistance. You'll need this code to complete your Sales Maker eligibility verification form.

What is a CIM Worker ID and how does it apply to the Sales Maker program?

Your employer uses this unique seven-digit number (beginning with a nine) to provision and identify you as an active employee. You'll need this number to complete your Sales Maker eligibility verification form.

If you're not familiar with your CIM worker ID, please speak to your manager.

Note: Depending on the Agent/National Retailer, the Native Worker ID number used in the Single Sign On (SSO) eROES/OnePOS) login process may match the CIM Worker ID.

I’ve validated my Sales Maker eligibility. What’s my status?

We'll send you a text message to notify you of your validation status within 30 days of your submission.

Changes in Employment or Eligibility

I've recently been promoted, and I'm now eligible to receive the Sales Maker executive discount. How can I get it?

I'm now working for a different employer who also offers the Sales Maker program. Can I still receive my discount?

If I'm no longer eligible for the Sales Maker program, will I have the option to bring my number and/or devices over to a standard account?

Troubleshooting

What should I do if I'm eligible for the Sales Maker program, but I missed the 30-day deadline to apply?

Why has my Sales Maker account been suspended?
