What is International Messaging?
With International Messaging you can send and receive text messages with more than 210 countries globally. Prefer to send Multimedia Messages? No problem ... Verizon has you covered with over 120 countries worldwide. That means your messages will be seen and heard.
To send an international message, type the number as if you were making an international call. If you run into problems, visit the Verizon Wireless website to confirm that the recipient is using a participating carrier. You can also verify the international messaging rates by country. Unlimited International messaging is included on select plans and when not included international messaging rates apply per recipient, per message sent and received. Fees are associated with sending and receiving international text and multimedia messages. To get international rates from My Verizon, visit verizonwireless.com/global, scroll to the "Traveling Outside the US" section, click "Get Started" and you'll see the Plans and Pricing listed.
