Here's how to add a virtual private network (VPN) to your moto g7 play.
A virtual private network (VPN) encrypts your internet traffic and protects your online identity via a secured remote server and is most commonly used when remotely accessing company systems (e.g., company email, intranet sites, etc.).
  1. From a Home screen, swipe up to access all apps.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Network & Internet
    .
  3. Tap
    Advanced
    .
  4. Tap
    VPN
    .
  5. Tap the
    Add icon
     Add icon.
    If presented, tap
    Set lock
     as a screen lock must be set in order to proceed.
  6. Contact the VPN administrator for assistance with server information and other necessary credentials:
    • Name
    • Type
    • Server Address
    • Username
    • Password
    • If applicable, tap
      Show advanced options
      to configure the following:
      The available options vary depending upon the selected VPN type.
      • DNS search domains
      • DNS servers
      • Forwarding routes
