Manage Data Usage - motorola edge+

Here's how to change the data usage cycle and set data warnings and/or limits on your motorola edge+.
  • Data usage info provided by the device may differ from actual usage. For data usage info provided by Verizon, refer to the My Verizon website.
  • To control data usage on your account, refer to Verizon Smart Family™.
  1. From a Home screen, swipe up to access all apps.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Network & Internet
    Mobile network
    .
  3. Tap
    Data warning & limit
     then do any of the following:
    • Set Mobile Data Limit:
      Wi-Fi can be used or mobile data must be manually adjusted (overage charges may apply).
      1. Tap the
        Limit switch
         to turn on Switch on.
      2. From the 'Data usage limit' prompt, review then tap
        OK
        .
      3. Tap
        Data limit
        .
      4. Enter the preferred data usage limit then tap
        Set
        .
    • Change Data Usage Cycle:
      1. Tap
        Mobile data usage cycle
        .
      2. Select the Usage cycle reset date then tap
        Set
        .
        Refer to the My Verizon website for the billing cycle date.
    • Set Mobile Data Warning:
      A notification message appears upon reaching the specified data usage level set.
      1. Tap the
        Alert me switch
         to turn on Switch on.
      2. Tap
        Data warning
        .
      3. Enter the preferred warning limit then tap
        Set
        .
