Here's how to extend battery life, view charging status / remaining battery and determine what uses the most power on your Orbic Chromebook.

Battery life is measured by standby time and usage time.
- Standby time is the amount of time the device stays asleep (powered on with screen off, and no data or other usage).
- Usage time is based on screen-on usage with normal battery drain.
- Using data such as web browsing, apps, or streaming reduces overall usage time.
To improve battery life, you can:
- Uninstall apps (e.g., live wallpapers, etc.) that are consuming too much battery or RAM or aren't being used.
- Contact the app developer if an app appears to cause excessive battery drain.
- Adjust brightness to the lowest setting.
