Samsung Chromebook Plus - Activate / Set Up Device
Here's how to perform a quick set up of your Chromebook Plus.
To activate the device on prepaid service, refer to Set up Verizon Prepaid Data Service.
- From the Welcome screen tapLet's go.
- From the 'Connect to network' screen tapVerizon Wireless.If activating with a Wi-Fi network:
- Select the preferred network.
- Enter the Wi-Fi password and tapConnectthen skip to step 5.
- TapConnect.
- From the Access Point dropdown menu, select4G LTE Contractthen tap theclose icon
(upper-right) to return to the set up.
- To proceed, review the Google Chrome OS terms then tapAccept and continue.
- Enter your Gmail address then tapNext.If you don't have one, create one.
- Enter your Gmail™ password then tapNext.
- Review the sync options then tapAccept and continue.
- Review the Google Play apps and services then tapMore.
- Select any of the following as desired then tapAccept:Selected when a checkmark is present.
- Back up Google Drive
- Help apps find location
- TapContinue.
- From the 'Access your Assistant with Voice Match' page, select 'No Thanks' or 'I agree'.
- From the 'Your Assistant is ready' page, tapDone.
- TapGet Started.
